Founded in the year 2011 by two technocrats, Qarmatek started as a pioneering venture with a simple yet powerful mission – to extend the lifecycle of electronic devices & mobile phones through expert repair and refurbishment. What began as a small-scale operation soon gained traction, earning the trust of brands and businesses seeking reliable solutions for their electronic assets.
The Indian e-commerce industry exploded- the number of Indians buying phones and electronic appliances online increased dramatically. International players started vying for a share of the pie but most of them struggled due to a lack of on-ground presence in the vast and complex Indian market. After all, manufacturing was their core forte, not repair. This is where we stepped in. Our unique, integrated centralized repair business model enabled us to forge an API-level connection with big brands. QarmaTek™ grew by leaps and bounds and today and has facilities located in Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Kolkata and Bengaluru.
As technology evolved, so did we. Over the years, Qarmatek expanded its capabilities beyond mobile and consumer electronics, delving into industrial electronics, home appliances, security devices, and emerging tech solutions. Serviced our first customers of power adaptors/SMPS and set-top boxes from our refurb area. Also, started L3 & L4 repair capability with 12 BGA machines for L4 repairs.
Established admin and commercial services, and developed in-house ERP named shERPa, installed across the organization. Also, Partnered with the world’s largest logistics company- FedEx
Launched PAN India pickup and repair services for ‘The Mobile Store’ and entered the retail repair market with our own brand ‘Quik-E’, a Wi-Fi-enabled repair area with tablet-based online data entry for repair activities. Moreover, we expanded our team to strengthen our repair capabilities
In the year 2015, we started transforming Xiaomi’s repair services by launching PickMi services, offering PAN India pickup repair and delivery solutions for seamless customer support.
Expanded operations by launching four major repair hubs across India significantly increasing service capacity and enhancing nationwide repair and support efficiency.
Collaborated with AmTrust to provide out-of-warranty mobile repairs, expanded its expertise, and strengthened service offerings for customers across India.
Launched Mobex as a dedicated brand for mobile phone repairs, providing end customers with reliable solutions, expert services, and seamless repair experiences across India.
Expanded operations to new locations in Pune & Jamnagar, strengthening our geographical presence.
Launched Mobex.in as an e-store for renewed phones, offering certified refurbished devices to a wider audience, ensuring affordability, quality, and reliability in mobile solutions.
Became Top Renewed Sellers on Amazon, commenced Tata PLAY Fire Stick refurbishment, and got recognized as the Top Seller in the Renewed Wireless Category, carving an exemplary milestone. Furthermore, we onboarded one more TATA PLAY project by securing the TATA BINGE (Fire Stick) repairs and refurbishment program.
Raised Series A funding of $3mn and joined hands with JIO for the refurbishment of ONT & STB. Also, secured a significant milestone by successfully completing the Series A funding round, raising $3 million to fuel our growth and innovation initiatives. Additionally, we formed an Alliance with JIO for the repair and refurbishment of their ONT & STB vertical

With 18+ years of senior management experience in telecom & electronics, Krunal is directly responsible for end-to-end operations and business strategy of the Company. Krunal’s extensive experience in the electronics services sector is backed by robust educational background including Computers & People Management. He stands by his 4C’s when it comes to People Management – Coordination, Collaboration, Continuous improvement, and Calculation of risk. Krunal is also extremely passionate about giving back to the planet by slowing the rate of e-waste. He believes in doing his bit by reducing e-waste on this planet – one refurbished appliance at a time.
Arun brings 30+ years of senior management experience in electronic manufacturing and repair service businesses across India, Australia and the USA. He’s quite the scholar, with a B. Tech from IIT Delhi and an MBA from FMS Delhi, and focuses on systems, processes and business development. If you’re an early bird, you might bump into him when he’s out on a morning run – feel free to ask the black belt for some Karate tips.
Applying everything he learned from an Advanced Diploma in Computer Applications with Oracle DBA Certification, Dhaval spearheads the IT and Quality programs at Qarmatek. He brings in 14+ years of experience in the IT sector with 4 years of SAP implementation. His son is lucky enough to have a father who can clear all his doubts in mathematics. Give him a Rubik’s Cube and watch him solve it like a pro.
Mitul is a telecom industry veteran with a Physics Degree, Post Graduation in sales & Marketing and 25 years of experience in Mass market sales and distribution. Mitul’s plans and executions are on a large scale, having worked with GE Lighting, Vodafone, Tata Teleservices and Reliance in various parts of India, Nepal, and Uganda. He is a leader of the kind Qarmatek needs. His love for sports, music and rural India could leave you bewildered!
